Master's Hand Ministries Youth Prison Ministry:

The staff at Master's Hand Ministries are burdened to reach the youth who are incarcerated in both  Youth Detention Centers as well as Regional Detention Centers.  In Georgia there are presently (31) Detention Centers in Georgia.

Of all of the different people that we work with we feel most drawn to the incarcerated youth that God has called us to reach for 'Him'.  M.H.M. partner with those who are incarcerated, the Correction Officers, Staff, and Facility Director's and their Management.

M.H.M.  minister to the youth using teaching, preaching, group activities, prayer time(Chapel Time), Christian Hip Hop, Christian Rap, Traditional Worship, Illustrated Sermons and Drama.  M.H.M.  have come to learn that we can only reach the youth by using music and methods that appeal to the youth of today!!!!!!!  M.H.M.  meets with the youth several times a month for one day at a time (Fresh Fire), or for several days in succession (Victory Crusades).

God has burdened us to Disciple the youth,(Giving them practical things that they can learn to do either alone or in small groups to deepen their relationship with Jesus Christ).

M.H.M.  teaches  the youth  about forgiveness, overcoming Anger, dealing with addictions to alcohol and drugs. We  also offer spiritual, emotional and physical support to the youth, their families as well as the staffs that care for the incarcerated youths.  Our ministry team consists of Ordained Pastors, Evangelists, Lay Ministers, Teacher's, working men and women, as well as youth that are called to work in this environment.

Our work takes us to Macon and throughout Georgia.  Master's Hand Ministries is presently in the process of beginning a new work in Gainesville, Georgia at the Regional Youth Development Campus. It is a short-term facility that houses both boys and girls.

The  long-term vision of M.H.M.  includes  building and training staff to reach all of the youth  incarcerated in the 31 Youth Detention Centers in Georgia. Our vision also includes establishing transitional housing for the youth when they are released from prison. 

M.H.M.  will work with the youth to assist them in getting job skills and training, finishing their education, and helping them to find a job.  M.H.M.  will also provide clothes and food for them while they are with us.  When they come to live with us at M.H.M.  transitional homes we will require that all of our students will be required to attend Bible School each day.  This Bible School will prepare them for a successful  return to society, it will also help them mature in their day to day walk with God.  This relationship with God in most cases will have been birthed while the youth were incarcerated.  We know that if the youth are going to be successful in their return to society they must be 'Hooked Up With God' through their relationship with Jesus Christ.

M.H.M.  will also offer support to the youth and their familes when they leave our Home and return to society.  M.H.M. will continue to offer them support and services that will help them in making a smooth transition as they return to work and to their familes.
