Burdened For The Lost:
The heart of this ministry is the fact that Jesus would have died if their had only been one soul to save . We know that if Jesus were here in this day and time 'He' would be where the hurting and lost people are. He would be on the street's with the homeless, with those addicted to drug's, alcohol, with the orphans, the sick, the incarcerated, the hungry, the naked, the poor, the broken hearted. The list goes on but we can all see and know where 'He' would be if 'He' was in our cities and streets. The word clearly speaks of all of this in the 25th Chapter of The Gospel of Matthew. Here we are told : Matthew 25:31-41

The Sheep and the Goats

31 "When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his throne in heavenly glory.
32 All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.
33 He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.
34 "Then the King will say to those on his right, 'Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world.
35 For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in,
36 I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.'
37 "Then the righteous will answer him, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink?
38 When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you?
39 When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?'
40 "The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.'
41 "Then he will say to those on his left, 'Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.

God has called us at Master's Hand Ministries to work with others who are seeking God to find out what 'His' perfect will is for their lives. God has called us to be co-servants, to work with others to start ministries in local communities. ministries that will reach the hurting, lost and the forgotten people around you. If one church in each city, village, town, or community would get on fire for Jesus they could see a revival in that area. That's right, revival just waiting to happen, but God needs laborer's to work the harvest.

Will you answer 'His' call ? Will you work his fields? Will you reach the lost, feed the hungry, cloth the naked, visit the sick and the the imcarcerated ? God may have already called you to do one or more of these things. 'He' may call you to do something else, something very unique. Something that will require the use of the gifts that 'He' has given to you. Only you can find out what God has called you to, nobody else can decide that for God or you. It is up to the individual to seek God to find this answer. God will reveal it to you if you seek 'Him' you will find 'Him'.

We often have people in our everyday lives that we need to reach for Jesus. Does 'His' light so shine in you that others are drawn to the Jesus in you ? Let 'Him' so shine in your life that others might be drawn unto 'HIm' and receive their salvation that is in Christ and Christ alone.

Let's work together and follow the plan that God has for our lives. We know of and see the hurting people all around us, but are we burdened for them to the point of us showing compassion to them. As Christians we should feel heavy in our hearts for the lost and dying people of our time and in our surroundings.

A burden , a calling, pushes us into action.
For example: A homeless person is spotted on a city street. It is below freezing, the person has no coat, jacket or blanket. He or she probably has nothing to eat. A person with compassion would have to stop and reach out to that person. Offer prayer, warm clothes, a hot meal, a blanket or maybe a place to stay. A person without this burden or compassion would drive by and say something like this. "Boy I sure do feel sorry for that person.", but would drive on by and do nothing but speak a few words about the homeless man or woman's situaton. They would become spectator's, and Christianity isn't a spectator sport, it is a lifestyle that requires action. We can't sit back and be spectator's anymore !!! God has called us to be burdened into action, compelled to make a difference.

WE ARE SAVED BY FAITH ALONE, BUT NOT BY FAITH THAT STANDS ALONE. A person who has truly been saved, changed in their heart, spirit , and mind is going to be about God's business. Let's do the things that God has desired for us to do and equipped us to do.

Lets check our own hearts and see if we are really doing with our lives what God would have us to do.
God has given all of us gifts, these gifts are ours to use for the glory of God. Spend time with 'Him and ask 'Him' what 'He' would have you do with your life in service to 'Him' .

The Imprisoned & The Homeless 'God's Children'
To the left a man in prison, below a homeless man.
God has called us to reach the likes of these two men. God uses people as 'His' instruments to reach the hurting and lost people. We are 'His' hands, eyes, 'His' love to the people around us. God loves others through a willing vessels that have given their self over to 'Him' to do 'His' work . Let's all get busy for Jesus.
